Hello!

MOLLY CORNELL (she/her) is a scenic and production designer with midwest roots in a coastal field, currently based in Los Angeles. Regional company credits (design and scenic charge) include: Peninsula Players, Northlight Theater, MadKap Productions, Blank Theatre Company, Red Orchid Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre, Raven Theatre, Akvavit Theatre, Urban Theatre Company, Dream Big Productions, and over 20 productions during her time at Loyola University Chicago. She will soon be graduating with an MFA in Design for Theatre and Entertainment from UCLA. As a designer, she is most interested in new and reimagined works centered around feminist or queer themes. Molly has extensive professional experience as a charge artist and designer, in addition to 25+ academic productions, including Handel’s Rodrigo at UCLA in May 2025. She will be the Associate Designer for the world premieres of All the Men Who’ve Frightened Me at La Jolla Playhouse and Sylvia Sylvia Sylvia at the Geffen Playhouse in the fall.
